Collagraph printing is a unique form of relief printmaking where layers of texture and pattern come together to create rich, one-of-a-kind prints. The name “collagraph” comes from the word collage, since the printing plates are often built from assembled and layered materials.

Using Speedball Acrylic Relief Inks, you’ll learn how to ink and print your custom plate while experimenting with texture, layering, and composition to create stunning handmade prints. By the end of class, you’ll leave with your own handmade collagraph printing plates, a collection of original prints you created yourself, and the skills and confidence to continue making collagraph prints at home. All materials are provided — just bring your creativity and get ready to make a mess in the best way possible!!
