Where in the World are Sharon and Jojo?

Well… the world is a big place. A very big place. And while Sharon and Jojo have their passports ready and their imaginary itineraries packed with far-off art destinations, we decided this season it might be just a tiny bit more fun (and let’s be honest - practical) to keep their travels a little closer to home!

So buckle up, because your favorite art-supply ambassadors are hitting the road for a red, white, and beautifully pigmented adventure across the good ol’ USA!

First Stop: New Berlin, NY
A short trip, but still exciting. Here they explored where Golden Artist Colors creates some of the most beloved materials around! SoFlat, QoR, PanPastel, and more!

We’re told Sharon asked at least three times if she could “just live here now,” and Jojo may or may not have tried to hug a mixing vat. It was a very emotional visit, and he really really likes Quinacridone Magenta!

Next Up: Kimberly, Wisconsin
Sharon and Jojo wasted no time diving into the heart of paint-making magic at the factory where Jack Richeson “Shiva” oil paints are made. There were rumors of them nodding very seriously while examining pigments, but honestly, we’re pretty sure they were just waiting for snack time!

Because yes, while in Wisconsin, they absolutely donned cheeseheads and cheered like lifelong football fans. Were they watching a game? Not exactly. Did that stop them? Not even a little.

Down South: North Carolina
Time to get printmaking. In North Carolina, the duo checked out where Speedball lino materials come to life! Inks, cutters, linoleum, and all the tools needed to carve out something amazing.

Jojo briefly considered carving a portrait of Sharon. Sharon strongly encouraged “abstract instead.” Wise lady!

Final Stop: Lancaster County, Pennsylvania
To wrap things up, Sharon and Jojo slowed things down with a peaceful buggy ride through Amish country. Between scenic views and plenty of fresh air, they also got a closer look at where Chroma Mural Colors and Mural Markers are made!

It was wholesome. It was picturesque. It was surprisingly competitive when they tried to see who could spot the most barns.
