That's right. Fluorescent colors. In oil paint.

 

Williamsburg has introduced an entire family of eight fluorescent shades:

Chartreuse • Orange • Pink • Red • Magenta • Green • Blue • Violet

 

And we think these are going to open some very interesting doors for painters!

 

Fluorescent color can bring an entirely different visual language to an oil painting. These intensely vivid hues can be used for electrifying accents, unexpected mixtures, glowing passages, contemporary color studies, surreal effects, signage-inspired imagery, atmospheric shifts, and all sorts of experimental work.

 

Imagine a traditional landscape with one impossible flash of fluorescent pink.
