Meet Our October Artist of the Month: Allison Snyder!

 

We’re so excited to feature Allison Snyder (@AllieDrawsArt) as The Art Store’s Artist of the Month for October! A talented painter from Brewerton, New York, Allie draws inspiration from unexpected places, including the vintage treasures she discovers while antiquing and exploring area flea markets! Her work blends playful, surreal, and nostalgic elements, often featuring the kinds of quirky vintage toys and objects that make you stop and take a closer look.

 

Allie works primarily in oil and acrylic paint and is inspired by artists like Mark Ryden and musician Melanie Martinez, whose music has influenced several of her pieces. We especially love her perspective on the creative process: "Keep doodling, keep experimenting, surround yourself with new and positive influences, and most importantly, keep creating the art that makes you happy."
