August is High Pastels Season!

There are few times of year more beautiful than August in Central New York. The gardens are overflowing, the lakes shimmer in the afternoon sun, country roads are lined with lush greens, and golden evenings seem to last forever. For pastel artists, this is "high pastel season." It's that magical time of year when it's impossible to resist grabbing a box of soft pastels, heading outside (or settling into a favorite sunny room), and capturing the incredible colors of summer!
