Paper garlands are an inexpensive and easy way to add some extra color and festive vibes to any occasion. Why not take it a step further, and custom print your own patterns? Gel printing is the process of making custom prints using acrylic paints and a gel plate, which has a similar feel silicone and is easy to clean and reuse. Using Rose’s favorite combination of Gel Press printing plates and AMSTERDAM acrylics, see how easy it is to create vivid textures, shapes, and color combinations using this fun and experimental medium.
By the end of class, you’ll leave with your completed garlands, any extra prints you’ve made, and the knowledge and inspiration to continue the fun at home. All materials provided!
