Traditional Japanese Gansai watercolors are highly pigmented, artist grade watercolor paints specially formulated for use with traditional Sumi-e ink wash painting techniques. Achieve unique effects and washes with the paints on their own or by mixing them with European or American watercolors. These watercolors were made for Sumi-e painting, but can also be used for other projects, such as calligraphy, rubber stamping, card making and paper crafts.
