This workshop covers the ABCs and 123s of working with oils, from essential terminology and materials to the basic skills you’ll need to continue your painting adventures at home.
Explore the fundamentals of oils and solvents, fat-over-lean, and other essential concepts, along with a brief survey of oil painting brushes and their various uses. You won’t leave with a finished masterpiece... and that’s the point! Instead, you’ll leave with hands-on practice, a better understanding of the medium, and the confidence and vocabulary to keep exploring.
