Cobra Returns!

At The Art Store, we believe that great materials should be accessible, and that learning should be shared. That’s why our free in-store events have become such an important part of what we do. They bring artists together, connect our community with industry experts, and create space to explore new techniques without barriers.

 

After the incredible response to our COBRA focus week earlier this year, we’re excited to bring it back!

 

For one full week, we’re once again shining the spotlight on Cobra Water-Mixable Oils - one of the most exciting innovations in oil painting. Whether you joined us in January or are just discovering Cobra for the first time, this is your chance to dive deeper, ask questions, and experience these paints firsthand.

 

Cobra oils offer everything artists love about traditional oils—rich color, smooth handling, and professional results—without the need for solvents. That means no harsh fumes, easier cleanup, and a more flexible, studio-friendly painting experience. It’s oil painting, reimagined for modern artists.

 

The highlight of the week is something truly special.

 

On March 28th from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM, we’re welcoming back a familiar face! Royal Talens artist ambassador and former Art Store team member Marvin Zahora - for a live, in-store demonstration and hands-on experience.

 

This is more than just a demo. It’s an opportunity to sit down, paint, ask questions, and learn directly from an artist who knows these materials inside and out. Marvin brings deep product knowledge, real-world experience, and a passion for helping artists grow! 

 

 

As always, this event is completely FREE. And no purchase is required.
