At The Art Store, back to school doesn’t just mean backpacks and bus rides. It means fresh starts, new skills, and the joy of learning...no matter your age!

 

 

Whether you're dusting off your brushes for the first time in years or diving deeper into your creative practice, our Studio Classes are designed with every artist in mind. We believe that learning is lifelong, and that art is one of the most fulfilling ways to keep growing, exploring, and expressing yourself. So "Back to School" Season isn't just for kids! It's for artists of all ages. This season, we will have classes on a myriad of subjects and styles- and we invite you to check them out! 

 

 

We’re offering a fantastic lineup of Studio Classes, taught right here in our on-site studio in Syracuse:

 

Collage – Explore composition, layering, and mixed media in a class that lets your imagination lead the way. You can do so much with a little Mod Podge!

Watercolor – Learn to capture light, texture, and movement with this expressive, flowing medium.

 

Painting – Oil, acrylic, or both—build your skills, experiment with style, and develop your own artistic voice!

 

Gouache – Discover the vibrant, velvety power of this often-overlooked medium, great for illustration and fine art alike.
 

Our instructors are not only talented artists but gifted teachers who love helping you unlock your potential-whether you’re a total beginner or ready to refine your craft! And in all classes at The Art Store, materials and supplies are always provided. So there's no barrier to entry- all you have to do is show up with an open mind and a willingness to experiment. How fabulous is that?
