Aitoh Akashiya Sumi Ink is a pigmented, deep, jet-black ink made from tree or vegetable oil soot. This extremely dark ink is ideal for calligraphy, sketching, and drawing, and can be used directly from the bottle or diluted with water to provide greyscale tones and washes. It is AP certified nontoxic good grade Sumi ink that can be used as an alternative to India Ink.
