Neocolor II & Gouache Saturday April 4 2:00 - 4:00

Join local artist and published coloring book author Sara Stedner for a hands-on exploration of vibrant water media! In this two-hour workshop, students will experiment with Neocolor II water-soluble pastels by Caran d’Ache alongside Holbein Acrylic Gouache and traditional gum arabic Artists’ Gouache. Through guided exercises, you’ll discover how these dynamic materials interact: layering, blending, activating with water, and combining their unique textures for powerful illustration and design effects!

This is a skill-focused class, so while you may not leave with a finished artwork, you’ll gain practical techniques and creative strategies to continue exploring at home. All materials are provided, just bring your curiosity and willingness to experiment!
