Mixed Media Skin Tones Workshop Saturday March 28 2:30 - 4:30

Colored pencils, watercolors, pastels, oh my! Join us for an exploration in creating skin tones across the spectrum using a variety of materials that are sure to bring a new twist to your work.

 

Art Store team member and local artist Rose Todero is bringing her unique perspective on crafting skin tones using an intersection of traditional color theory and mixed media textures to add a unique touch to your portrait work. Whether you prefer to work in realism, impressionism, or abstraction, artists of any skill level can benefit from the knowledge of creating a variety of skin tones using concepts like temperature, value, and color mixing.

 

Attendees should be advised that this is NOT a course on how to draw portraits, but specifically on learning about color theory pertaining to skin tones. All materials will be provided, come experiment with a variety of materials in an inviting, supportive environment!
