With Spring approaching, what better time is there to start dreaming of getting outside? Join Art Store team member and local maker Rose Todero for another exciting exploration in Block Printing: Landscape Edition!
Whether you’re new to the medium or a seasoned printmaker looking for a new approach, there’s something for everyone in this course. During class, Rose will guide you through the ins-and-outs of your printmaking toolkit, explain the basic principles of relief printmaking, and help you bring your landscape to life by showcasing different carving tricks and techniques to maximize texture, movement, and contrast in your final piece.
All materials are provided, and by the end of class you’ll leave with your complete stamp, prints, and the skills to continue printing at home. This class will be a breath of fresh air – come explore the motifs of the great outdoors!
