Calligraphy: Love Letters is a 2-hour introductory calligraphy workshop taught by local artist Sharon Blair, featuring a festive Valentine’s Day twist. Perfect for beginners, this class offers a playful and welcoming introduction to the art of beautiful lettering...ideal for love notes, cards, and heartfelt messages of all kinds!
Students will explore a variety of calligraphy markers (a Sharon favorite!) and also get a special turn using the dip pen with traditional calligraphy ink. Along the way, you’ll learn foundational strokes, lettering basics, and tips for developing your own style- all in a relaxed, encouraging atmosphere.
All materials are provided, so students only need to bring an open mind and a willingness to learn. The romance is optional, the creativity is guaranteed, and the sappy stuff is extra!
