Gamblin Stand Oil made from polymerized refined linseed oil produced from North American flax seeds. After the refining process, it is heated in a vacuum until it thickens, resulting in an enamel like finish when used in oil painting. Stand oil is a thick, non-yellowing medium suited for glazing or wash techniques and eliminating brush marks.
